being honest, i didnt really workout last week. i was getting back into the groove of things after vacation and trying to keep my kids occupied that i felt overwhelmed.  this week i’ve been doing zumba and have actually been doing some of the quick workouts i found on pinterest. i passed up root beer floats at work today for an apple and skipped my “lunch” break and did laps in the parking lot. i only did a mile but worked up a sweat and now feel smelly.

oh well. i’ll be going to a wedding at the end of july and hope to lose like 10 lbs or anything i guess. my 5 year anniversary is at the end of august and my husband and i are planning a trip— to vegas! hopefully i can be down 15 lbs by then. trying to keep things realistic, hopefully i dont disappoint. i know its possible :)

June 16th update

WHOA!

it’s me. so a little update. i’ve been on vacation since the beginning of june and just got back home yesterday. i spent the last 2 weeks in texas visiting family and just enjoying myself.  rented a beach house on south padre island and was at the beach everyday. it was simply amazing.  the last time i weighed in i was at 206… today i weighed in at 210.  i wasn’t surprised at all since i didn’t eat very well and wasn’t working out. so monday i’m starting my diet again. already have plans with my cousin aka my gym buddy and plan to start drinking my vi shakes again on a normal routine.  hope summer has been good for all of you :)

Last Friday night….

I went out last night with some friends so I decided to get dressed up did my make up and felt pretty. I was ready to have a good time until we got there. I was standing by my car waiting for my friends and someone drove by and yelled “woohoo, fat girl!”. While it was funny that someone actually did that it really shot my self esteem down and I felt uncomfortable all night. Stupid boys.

Shake recipes

I found a list of shake recipes and listed the ones here that appealed most to me. I’ve had the chocolate peanut butter cup, I love that, and just drank a almond joy and literally finished it in like 2 minutes, it was amazing. I also made a chocolate banana one before using the flavor packets, but found the banana too overwhelming and was burping it all day. If you saw my post from this morning you know i didnt like the cinnamon shake. Other than these ones listed that I want to try, I also make strawberry banana, blueberry, and mixed berry smoothies regularly using frozen fruit. Those never disappoint me. If any of you have any favorites/suggestions please let me know. :)
